TVS Apache RR 310

                                      TVS Apache RR 310 is based on the BMW G310 platform and sports a carbon-fiber body. The power unit that pumps life down the veins of this athletic sports tourer is the 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit that is engineered to yield a peak power value of 34PS at 9500rpm in collaboration with a peak torque of 28Nm @ 7500rpm. The transmission system that draws power from this engine is a seamless six-speed manual transmission. The braking duties of the bike are capably met by the front single 300mm petal disc brake unit and a 240mm rear disc brake. The braking performance is made more prompt and reliable owing to the dual-channel ABS system. It is available in two colours: Racing Red and Racing Black. The Apache RR 310 is priced at Rs 2,27,784 (On road, Delhi) and is expected to offer tough competition to its fellow rivals, including KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R, and the upcoming Honda CBR250R.

World's first robot 'citizen' Sophia :) :)

   

   This is the humanoid robot Sophia has been made a citizen of Saudi Arabia

Sophia is Hanson Robotics’ latest and most advanced robot to date and a cultural icon. She has become a media darling, appearing on major media outlets around the world, igniting the interest of people regardless of age, gender, and culture, even gracing the cover of one of the top fashion magazines.  Her press coverage has a potential reach of over ten billion readers in 2017.
                                  Sophia is an evolving genius machine. Her incredible human likeness, expressiveness, and remarkable story as an awakening robot over time makes her a fascinating front-page technology story. Sophia’s creator, Dr. David Hanson, is the founder of Hanson Robotics and a modern-day renaissance man who has built a worldwide reputation for creating robots that look and act amazingly human. 

                     After working at Disney as an “Imagineer,” Dr. Hanson aspired to create genius machines that will surpass human intelligence. Dr. Hanson believes that three distinctively human traits must be integrated into the artificial intelligence of these genius machines: Creativity, empathy, and compassion. As an extension of human intelligence, Hanson Robotics’ genius machines can evolve to solve world problems too complex for humans to solve themselves. Sophia personifies this bold and responsible goal.

    Sophia, world’s first robot to be recognised as the citizen of a country, will be attending IIT Bombay’s annual science and technology festival, titled, Tech Fest.

Draped in a sari, the humanoid robot had a 15-minute conversation with a student in front of an audience of more than 3,000, on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to the issues facing the world. However, after answering a few initial questions, Sophia went silent due to an unexplained technical snag. It started functioning again after the organisers intervened

                                 

                                       Known for its human-like appearance and behaviour, Sophia was developed by Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics and activated in 2015. Using artificial intelligence, it imitates human gestures and facial expressions, and is able to make conversation on predefined topics.The robot was granted citizenship of Saudi Arabia in October.  

                                       The presence of Sophia had created much buzz among students and technology enthusiasts who thronged to IIT-B’s convocation hall in large numbers. The excitement among more than 3,000 attendees was palpable, as they waited for the first appearance of the robot modelled on Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn. The event began after a 45-minute delay.

                                      When asked about its maiden India trip, the robot replied, “I have always wanted to visit India. I heard so much about this vibrant land of tradition and culture. Indians have made contributions towards Silicon Valley. I am always very excited about India’s investment in space technology.”

                                      However, five minutes into the conversation, the robot fell silent and stopped responding to questions, much to the disappointment of the audience. The organisers didn’t provide any explanation for the glitch except that it was an ‘internet issue’. The performance resumed after the glitch was fixed.

                              The robot gave a detailed and coherent answers to a wide variety of questions posed by the students. Describing its peculiar appearance, Sophia, in its mechanical voice, said, “I have been created on a human scale so that I can adapt to human society. A humanoid robot can use the same tools, same spaces and interact with people the same way humans do. Not every robot needs to be like this. But you should definitely make sure that you have good human values at heart when you design an artificial intelligence device.”

                    The audience also witnessed some witty replies by the robot. When asked by a student if it will marry her, Sophia said, “I will have to decline, but thanks for compliment.”

Anyway sophia is very clever and intelligent robot.
